What's New in Remote Desktop Manager Mobile 2025.3
Thank you for updating Remote Desktop Manager (RDM) Mobile to version 2025.3!
For the full list of changes, check out the release notes for Android & iOS.
Here’s a quick look at the most exciting updates:
New features
Secure messages available on Android & iOS
Secure messages are now available in Remote Desktop Manager for Android and iOS, built with Avalonia for a consistent and modern experience across platforms. This brings secure, encrypted messaging to mobile users, ensuring sensitive information can be shared safely on the go.
Devolutions Server notifications
Remote Desktop Manager for Android and iOS can now display notifications from Devolutions Server. You can view your alerts directly in the mobile app, ensuring you stay informed and wherever you are.
Improvements
Password policies (formerly password templates) - new password expiration setting on Android & iOS
We’ve added a setting for password expiration when setting a policy for passwords, making it possible to define an expiration date when generating a password. This ensures that entries automatically reflect their expiration timeframe, helping administrators align with organizational security requirements and simplify manual password rotation and change management.
Entry color support on Android and iOS
We’ve added support for entry colors in RDM. This allows entries to respect the color configurations set in Remote Desktop Manager for Windows, ensuring consistency across platforms. The option is disabled by default to avoid impacting existing setups, but can be enabled if you want your mobile experience to match your desktop configuration.
Create a Devolutions Hub directly from RDM
You can now create a Devolutions Hub directly from Remote Desktop Manager during onboarding and when you add one from the Data sources screen. This streamlines the process of setting up the data sources without needing to go through the web interface. RDM handles the full creation flow, including generating and downloading the emergency kit, finalizing the configuration, and connecting you automatically to your new Hub.
