SAINT-HYACINTHE, QC, May 15, 2024 /CNW/ - ITSec, the must-attend event for Quebec's information technology and cybersecurity professionals, will open its doors in just one week, on May 22 and 23, 2024, at the Sheraton in Saint-Hyacinthe. This year, ITSec promises to be even more enriching with an additional day of special training sessions, organized by Devolutions, scheduled for May 21.

Special Training Day Before ITSec

The day before the main event, May 21, Devolutions is offering a full day of training, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., dedicated to the latest cybersecurity trends and innovative technologies. Led by Devolutions product experts, including the Chief Information Security Officer, Martin Lemay, this day promises to be an exceptional learning platform for all participants. May 21 is accessible to all participants who have purchased a ticket for ITSec.

Two Days of Complete Immersion

During the two days of ITSec, participants will have access to more than 20 conferences, workshops, and expert panels. These sessions will address three main themes: cybersecurity, IT security, and managed service providers. With more than 30 exhibitor booths to explore and over 500 participants expected, the event offers a unique opportunity for networking and professional development.

Featured Sessions Not to Be Missed

• Steve Waterhouse will inaugurate the event with a talk on effectiveness as a Chief Information Security Officer.
• The following day, a session by Microsoft will address cybersecurity in the era of generative AI.
• Gabrielle Botbol will close ITSec with a talk on the importance of interpersonal skills in cybersecurity.

Additional Activities
