Devolutions Invests in Obkio to Build a Leading IT Ecosystem for SMBs

Two technology companies are combining their expertise to strengthen their positioning in international IT markets.

Lavaltrie, Quebec, Canada, June 9, 2026 — Devolutions, a global leader in secure and accessible IT management solutions, including privileged access management (PAM) solutions for SMBs and mid-sized organizations, announces a strategic investment in Obkio, a Montreal-based company behind an internationally recognized network performance monitoring platform.

A Partnership Built on Complementary Expertise

Devolutions and Obkio serve similar customer bases, including managed service providers (MSPs), IT administrators, and mid-sized organizations, while bringing complementary expertise to the IT ecosystem. The investment is built on a shared understanding of the needs of modern IT teams, particularly around performance, reliability, and secure infrastructure management.

"Our decision to invest in Obkio is based on the quality of its platform, the credibility of its team, and the relevance of its positioning among IT professionals," said David Hervieux, Chief Executive Officer of Devolutions. "This investment is in line with our commitment to supporting the next generation of information technology solutions."

With Devolutions' support, Obkio will be able to accelerate its growth, expand its team, strengthen its commercial activities, and continue advancing its platform while preserving its operational autonomy and strategic direction.

"This investment from Devolutions comes at a key moment for Obkio," said Pierre-Luc Charbonneau, Chief Executive Officer of Obkio. "After several years of building our platform, we now have the product and traction needed to scale to the next level. Devolutions brings us much more than financial resources: its entrepreneurial expertise and deep understanding of our market will significantly accelerate the execution of our product development roadmap."

About Obkio

Founded in 2018 in Montreal, Obkio is a network observability and diagnostics platform built to make network monitoring accessible to any IT team, regardless of their level of network expertise. The platform includes network performance monitoring, SNMP device monitoring, visual traceroutes, application performance monitoring, and Obkio Insight, its automated network diagnostics engine. Obkio is used by IT teams, network engineers, and managed service providers (MSPs) in over 40 countries.
