In the Devolutions State of IT Security in SMBs in 2022-23 survey, we discovered that just 12% of SMBs have a fully-deployed PAM solution in place, and 52% of SMBs have not implemented any PAM controls at all.
To dive deeper in these findings, this month we are asking:
If your company uses a PAM solution, are you satisfied with it? Please share the reasons why/why not. For example: you may be happy with the ease-of-use and AD integration, but unhappy with high licensing/maintenance costs, lack of account discovery options, etc.
If your company does not use a PAM solution, what are the reasons and obstacles preventing this? For example: lack of budget, decision-makers incorrectly believe that a standalone password manager is enough, etc.
In sharing your PAM experiences, observations, and advice, you will help other members of the community focus on what works — and just as importantly, avoid what doesn’t.
