Mario Bouchard has led an inspiring career path in the wireless industry. He co-founded iBwave in 2003, a company globally serving over 700 leading telecommunication firms, in over 80 countries worldwide, with innovative in-building solutions. He took his 15 years of experience working for TELUS Mobility and Bell Canada, two leading Canadian wireless operators, to create a unique suite of products that would address the needs of the in-building wireless market, soon becoming the standard for the entire in-building ecosystem. iBwave was acquired by Corning in 2015.
After multiple successful transactions, Mario is now investing in Technology companies as well as sitting on multiple Board of Directors.
Stéphane Desjardins is a driven executive, an angel investor, and a successful serial entrepreneur. Stéphane is currently an angel investor, a business coach and a technology entrepreneur working on various high tech start-up initiatives. An IT and Telecom industry veteran with over 25 years of experience, Stéphane founded and operated several successful companies that earned him the trust of many high profile partners and customers from among some of North America's most reputable corporations.
Up until 2012, Stéphane was CEO of ZINC Solutions : A Systems Integrator and Value Added Reseller, with offerings around Converged IP, Mobile and Infrastructure and serving many IT and telecom-focused organisations, ZINC led an impressive amount of large telecom and IT-focused projects.
Mr. Desjardins holds a B.A. in Computer Engineering degree from the École Polytechnique de Montréal.
David Hervieux has over 18 years of experience in software development. As President and CEO, David is responsible for Devolutions’ corporate strategy, and for overseeing product development.
After establishing Devolutions Inc. in 2004 as a software consulting service, David evolved the company’s mission in 2010 to focus on turn-key software solutions. Today, with over 350,000 users in more than 140 countries, Devolutions is a leader in the field.
Reflecting on Devolutions’ success, David credits his extensive experience in software architecture, his entrepreneurial spirit, his solid foundation of business intelligence, and a total commitment to customer satisfaction. His hard work and vision were recognized at Devtech in 2011, where he won two prestigious awards, including Best Business Model and Investissement Québec CEO of the year.
Since March 2014, Marc runs his own consulting practice as president of MLC Finance. He provides his clients with merger, acquisition, financing and advisory services. Prior to this, Marc acted as Chief Financial Officer of iBwave Solutions, a software company focused on in-building wireless software solutions, acquired by Corning in 2015.
Prior to 2009 when he joined iBwave, Marc was part of the corporate finance group of Deloitte since 2007, working with Deloitte clients to provide M&A, financing and advisory services. For the prior 15 years, Marc worked as Chief financial officer for technology companies, such as Wysdom, Lyrtech and Cognicase which he helped bring public on Nasdaq and the TSX in 1997 and where he supervised the acquisition of 18 companies.
Throughout this period, he also served as a board member for Ixiasoft Inc., Micro-Intel, Accovia, Lyrtech, Mindready Solutions and Cognicase. Marc holds a Masters in Finance from HEC in Montreal, an engineering degree from Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal and holds the CFA designation.
Stéfane has more than 20 years of experience in software development and database architecture. He has successfully completed projects in the shipping industry, outdoor advertising, the medical field, and others.
As Chief Technology Officer, Stéfane is responsible for evolving Devolutions’ product line, defining multi-platform strategy (MacOS, iOS, Android, etc.), and overseeing research and development efforts.
Stéfane earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba. He has since achieved several professional Microsoft certifications.
