From 1 to 250 employees and still growing
Devolutions was founded in 2004 in the basement of its founder, David Hervieux. No grand plan, no investors, just an idea and the passion to bring it to life.
The first two employees joined David in 2010, and it was the growing popularity of Remote Desktop Manager that dictated the next steps: a first office in Lavaltrie in 2011, followed by increasingly larger spaces to keep up with the pace.
After three expansions, Devolutions remains firmly rooted in Lavaltrie, where many of its employees are based. But the growth didn't stop there. In January 2023, Devolutions opened an office in Ottawa, marking its first steps in the Canadian capital. Then, in February 2026, the company set up shop in Málaga, Spain. This European presence reflects an ambition that continues to grow.
