David Hervieux has over 18 years of experience in software development. As President and CEO, David is responsible for Devolutions’ corporate strategy, and for overseeing product development.
After establishing Devolutions Inc. in 2004 as a software consulting service, David evolved the company’s mission in 2010 to focus on turn-key software solutions. Today, with over 350,000 users in more than 140 countries, Devolutions is a leader in the field.
Reflecting on Devolutions’ success, David credits his extensive experience in software architecture, his entrepreneurial spirit, his solid foundation of business intelligence, and a total commitment to customer satisfaction. His hard work and vision were recognized at Devtech in 2011, where he won two prestigious awards, including Best Business Model and Investissement Québec CEO of the year.
Stéfane has more than 20 years of experience in software development and database architecture. He has successfully completed projects in the shipping industry, outdoor advertising, the medical field, and others.
As Chief Technology Officer, Stéfane is responsible for evolving Devolutions’ product line, defining multi-platform strategy (MacOS, iOS, Android, etc.), and overseeing research and development efforts.
Stéfane earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba. He has since achieved several professional Microsoft certifications.
Max has extensive experience in product management, communication and advertising. As VP Sales and Marketing at Devolutions, Max leads Devolutions’ international market research and development efforts, along with customer relations and overall business development. He’s driven to bring innovative and cutting-edge solutions to Devolutions’ customers around the globe.
Max also has several years of experience helping renowned organizations bring their high-end solutions to customers worldwide.
Max earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Québec at Trois-Rivières, and he regularly attends sales and marketing workshops to increase his knowledge and expertise.
Maurice brings more than 15 years of IT experience to the Devolutions team. For 12 years he served as an avionics technician and instructor in the Canadian Army. He has also worked as a system/network/database IT administrator, solution architect, a team manager, and he has successfully completed several projects for world renowned organizations in the medical industry and in the online marketing field.
As Devolutions’ Business Architect, Maurice leads and manages our development team on every project. He has extensive knowledge of different languages, including C# and .NET, along with expertise in MS SQL, Oracle and MySQL. His world class team management experience elevates our development structure to the next level.
Maurice earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Québec at Chicoutimi, and he holds several IT certifications.
With a degree in management, Melissa joined Devolutions as Office Manager in 2011. Her responsibilities have grown with the company and she is now responsible for all aspects of Human Relations.
In 2017, Melissa was appointed Director of Human Resources. Along with the management team, Melissa defines the company’s Human Resources strategy and policies.
Her human approach, centered on employees, has greatly contributed to many new procedures that have improved the structure and efficiency of the Human Resources department.
Simon Roy has over 16 years of consulting experience in economic development and financial management.
Simon has previously been the Co-Founder and Executive Director of a concert venue, as well as the Vice-President of Finance for an information technology services provider.
He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Québec at Trois-Rivières.
Since being called to the Quebec Bar Association in 2005, Guillaume Beaupré has accumulated extensive experience and expertise in corporate law and strategic consulting. Guillaume began his practice at a first-tier law firm in Montreal. He then moved to a multinational company where he began as an in-house counsel, before eventually making partner at a boutique law firm that specialized in corporate law. Throughout his career, Guillaume has been actively involved in numerous large-scale initiatives in the spheres of commercial transactions, corporate governance, and financing. He has also acted as a business advisor for directors of small and medium-sized businesses.
As Director of Legal Affairs and Strategic Development at Devolutions, Guillaume advises the executive team and monitors legal issues that could have an impact on the company’s operations, notably questions pertaining to compliance, governance, strategic partnerships, risk management, personal information protection, intellectual property and internal policies.
Guillaume completed his bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of Laval and the University of Toronto. He completed his Bachelor of Civil and Common Law at McGill University. During his studies, Guillaume received several grants and distinctions for excellence. Guillaume is an accredited mediator (civil law, labour and commercial); he also sits on the board of directors for several organizations in the cultural, educational and environmental sectors. Guillaume has frequently been invited to speak to entrepreneurs about commercial law and personal information protection.
