Devolutions Launches Small Business Edition of Remote Desktop Manager Server (RDMS)

The new, lower-priced Small Business Edition of Devolutions’ Remote Desktop Manager Server (RDMS) includes all of the features found in the standard edition, but is designed for IT teams of 10 or fewer users. A 30-day trial of RDMS is available from server.devolutions.net.

Devolutions, a Canadian-based enterprise software firm with a suite of time and cost-saving products that are trusted by more than 200,000 users in over 85 countries, has launched a new, lower-priced Small Business Edition of its Remote Desktop Manager Server (RDMS) that is designed for IT teams of 10 or fewer users.

RDMS, which is a self-hosted repository for Devolutions’ flagship product Remote Desktop Manager (RDM), allows users to store and share remote connection settings, virtual machine connections and any other sensitive data in an enterprise-wide high-end security data store that can be deployed online or internally. RDMS also features:

  • Shared sessions with multiple users
  • Support for Windows authentication and Active Directory group management
  • Client and server side caching optimization
  • Can be deployed online or internally
  • 100% compatibility with the SQL Server data source
  • Includes Remote Desktop Manager Enterprise client (Global license)

The new Small Business Edition of RDMS features all of the above, but is offered at a lower price point since it allows up to 10 user accounts vs. unlimited accounts with the standard edition. Users can be located anywhere in the world, and do not have to be working in the same office.

IT pros and teams can download a 30-day trial of RDMS from Devolutions Server.

An RDM Enterprise client is required to access the Server platform, and a 30-day trial is available from remotedesktopmanager.com.
