""Many of the new additions and changes are the result of feedback from our incredible community""

Less than six months after releasing their much-anticipated Mac versions for Remote Desktop Manager and Password Vault Manager, Devolutions announced today that version 2.0 of each solution is now available for immediate download.

Used by over 200,000 IT professionals in more than 100 countries, Remote Desktop Manager (RDM) is an all-in-one platform for securing, storing, and centralizing an unlimited number of remote connections, passwords and credentials. RDM 2.0 for Mac offers many of the tools that have already been integrated with the latest RDM 10.5 for Windows version, such as TeamViewer, Microsoft Remote Desktop, SSH, Telnet, 1Password, Secret Server, LastPass and Apple Keychain. Other new features include:

  • Status management functionality
  • Password history
  • Additional reports
  • The ability to link and reuse existing VPN configurations
  • The ability to keep track all modifications and view change histories
  • The ability to keep share connection information between multiple users
  • Intel® AMT support
  • Usage and edition Audit Trace
  • Password access Audit Trace
  • Multiple data entry types (contacts, credit cards, secure notes, etc.)
  • Playlist support
  • Offline mode and document support
  • Before connect events

Password Vault Manager (PVM) enables IT pros and teams to centralize their passwords and credentials in one secure repository, so they can: control user security access, reduce help desk support calls, and strengthen their network security. PVM 2.0 for Mac features several performance and usability improvements.

“Mac users hate getting products that are little more than Windows copies,” commented Devolutions’ CEO founder and CEO David Hervieux. “That’s why we significantly invest resources, expertise and time developing legitimate, full-featured Mac versions of our products. We respect the needs of IT pros and teams who work exclusively in Mac environments, as well as those who work in dual or multiple operating system environments.”

Added Mr. Hervieux: “As with all of our updates, many of the new additions and changes are the result of feedback from our incredible community. Listening to what our users have to say is built into our DNA, and it’s what makes us who we are.”

Users who have an existing Remote Desktop Manager license for Mac or Windows can download RDM for Mac 2.0 from https://mac.remotedesktopmanager.com/home/download. A complimentary trial version is also available, as is a new free version.

Users who have an existing Password Vault Manager license for Mac or Windows can download PVM 2.0 for Mac from https://passwordmac.devolutions.net/home/download. A complimentary trial version is available.
