"While we knew that there was strong demand, we didn’t want to take any shortcuts"
IT pros and teams around the world who have eagerly been waiting to get their hands on Remote Desktop Manager (RDM) for Mac can finally start the countdown, now that Devolutions has announced that a beta version will be released in October 2013.
Remote Desktop Manager, which is trusted by over 200,000 IT pros in more than 95 countries, is an efficient and easy all-in-one platform that centralizes and manages remote connections, credentials and passwords. RDM for Mac (beta) will include all of the features and benefits of the Windows version, plus it will be publicly available so that everyone -- and not just select users -- can take it for a spin, and provide feedback on what they like and what they want to see improved.
You can register for the Beta here: remotedesktopmanager.com/home/macbeta.
Plus, Devolutions announced that RDM licenses will be valid for both Windows and Mac versions, which means that users and teams won’t have to pay extra.
“Our talented software architects have been working hard on RDM for Mac for several months,” commented Devolutions’ founder and CEO David Hervieux. “And while we knew that there was strong demand, we didn’t want to take any shortcuts – especially with respect to the intuitive UI, which is one of the most popular features of the latest RDM generation. We think that our community will be pleased with the result, and we invite them to provide us with their feedback. We’re always listening to our community, because our work is all about making their lives smarter, simpler and safer.”
Mr. Hervieux also added that the Mac (beta) version of his company’s Password Vault Manager (PVM) will be available in late September 2013. Password Vault Manager is an all-in-one solution that streamlines password management, security rights and access. It also reduces help desk support calls and strengthens network security by generating only strong and unique passwords.
