At Devolutions, artificial intelligence has become an integral part of how we work. Our position is clear: using AI isn’t just allowed, it’s encouraged.
This is no trivial choice. In many organizations, AI remains in a gray area: neither banned nor truly supported. At Devolutions, the decision is a deliberate one, championed by leadership and teams alike.
Time and productivity gains
We encourage AI because we see its concrete benefits. Woven into daily work, it speeds up how tasks get done, raises the quality of the work, and makes it possible to accomplish in a few hours what once took several days. We see these gains internally, from development to security, all the way to our internal tools.
Many of our employees produce better results, faster, since integrating AI into their workflow. Our Chief Technology Officer, Marc-André Moreau, summed it up in the article Your AI questions, answered by our CTO: it would be counterproductive to hold an employee back at the very moment they reach a significantly higher level of productivity thanks to AI.
That’s why we invest in tools and training. We give our employees the resources they need to make the most of AI, rather than restricting access to it.
A guided approach
Encouraging AI doesn’t mean using it without guardrails. Responsible adoption rests on a framework, and at Devolutions, that framework operates on two levels.
The first is leadership. AI adoption has been backed at the highest level from the start, which sets a clear direction for the entire organization.
“We’ve always put people before technology, and AI doesn’t change that. Used well, it’s an ally: it takes on repetitive tasks so our teams can focus on what truly matters.” — David Hervieux, CEO of Devolutions
The second is our recently formed AI team. It defines best practices, guides how AI is used, answers questions, and ensures our use of AI stays deliberate, secure, and consistent with our values. It works hand in hand with leadership to keep our approach both supported and rigorous.
An AI survey
Having shared our position, we want to hear yours. That curiosity is at the heart of the AI survey we’re launching today, focused on the maturity of AI adoption within organizations.
We want to know how organizations like yours actually use AI: which tools make a difference, which tasks are now automated, and whether adoption is happening thoughtfully or at full speed. Your answers will help us better understand the reality of our community and shape our upcoming content on the topic.
The prize
As a thank-you for taking part, the winner will choose between two options:
- a $1,000 Amazon gift card;
- or a training session with Mindstone — the same one we completed at Devolutions — offered to the winner and four of their colleagues.
Mindstone is a platform specialized in building practical artificial intelligence skills. Its training, available at every level, focuses on hands-on learning applied directly to the AI tools teams already use, to maximize their day-to-day value.
Please note: the Mindstone training is offered exclusively in English.
The contest is subject to certain eligibility and participation conditions. See the contest rules for full details.
Take the survey
AI is transforming how we work, and Devolutions has chosen to embrace it in a way that’s both intentional and guided. We invite you to take the survey, enter for a chance to win the prize, and follow the rest of our AI series on the blog.
