Devolutions Releases Major Update to Remote Desktop Manager 12.5 with Nearly 200 Improvements

Enterprise software firm Devolutions has released a major update to its flagship solution Remote Desktop Manager (RDM), which is used by more than 300,000 IT professionals in over 130 countries.

Available on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android, Remote Desktop Manager is an all-in-one management platform that enables IT teams to centralize all of their remote connections and passwords, so they can increase efficiency and security throughout their organization, while reducing costs and risk.

Key additions in Remote Desktop Manager 12.5 include new:

  • Integrations for GotoAssist, Sticky Password, Amazon EC2 and FreeRDP
  • Inventory report options and details
  • Support for One-Time Passwords
  • Password List credential entry
  • Support for WebData data source
  • Add-on Update Check at Start-up
  • Dynamic Port forwarding in SSH Tunnel and SSH Port Forward
  • Multiple PowerShell cmdlet options

In total, Remote Desktop Manager features 197 enhancements and improvements since the last minor update (version 12.0.8.0 release in December/16), and 303 since the last major update (version 12.0.0.0 released in November/16). After their trial period expires, they can either a purchase a license (user, site, country or global), or downgrade to Remote Desktop Manager Free and use it for as long as they wish.

Current license holders will be automatically prompted to upgrade at no cost when they next sign into Remote Desktop Manager, or they can manually download version 12.5 from https://remotedesktopmanager.com/home/download.
