""The world of business is always moving forward, and that means we’ll never stop improving Remote Desktop Manager""

Devolutions, a Canadian-based enterprise software firm with more than 200,000 customers in over 80 countries, has released a major update to its flagship product, Remote Desktop Manager.

Remote Desktop Manager lets IT professionals and other users add, edit, delete, share, organize, find and manage remote connections and virtual machines. They can also control password management and credentials management anytime, anywhere.

Remote Desktop Manager 7.6 features a number of key improvements and enhancements, some of which were implemented as a result of suggestions from IT professionals on Devolutions’ popular community forum. Users will now benefit from:

  • Client side caching
  • LogMeIn Free support without desktop shortcuts and multiple accounts
  • Improved import functionality for Dameware, TeamViewer and Aurora Password Manager
  • Several improvements to usability, functionality and performance

In addition, thanks to users who have contributed their time and talent via Devolutions’ new localizer translation tool, Remote Desktop Manager 7.6 is now available in Chinese. Additional languages are being regularly added to help as many IT professionals around the world take advantage of the company’s acclaimed remote computer management, password management and credentials management tool.

“Remote Desktop Manager 7.6 introduces client caching, which was a popular request from our global community of valued IT professionals,” commented Devolutions’ CEO and founder David Hervieux. “Plus, we’ve also developed a workaround for our LogMeIn users, so that they can continue using LogMeIn Free with Remote Desktop Manager, despite the fact that desktop shortcuts are no longer available.”

Added Hervieux: “This is the Remote Desktop Manager’s fourth major update this year. That simply goes to prove that, despite the popularity of the tool around the world, the last thing we’re doing is resting on our accomplishments, or patting ourselves on the back. The world of business is always moving forward, and that means we’ll never stop improving Remote Desktop Manager, or listening and responding to the needs of our invaluable users and community.”

A free 30-day trial version of Remote Desktop Manager 7.6 is available at remotedesktopmanager.com. Users who wish to continue after 30 days can download the free Standard edition, or upgrade to the Enterprise edition for a nominal licensing fee.
