Remote Desktop Manager Creator Devolutions Launches Fun and Exciting Translation Contest

Users Around the World Can Win Prizes Including Cash and Software, While the Help Others in the Global Virtual Community Enjoy the Benefits of Remote Desktop Manager.

""By making Remote Desktop Manager more accessible to more people around the world, we can help make people’s lives easier, simpler, more efficient and more rewarding.""

Enterprise software firm Devolutions, the Canadian-based creator of Remote Desktop Manager and Password Vault Manager, and with a community of more than 200,000 users in over 75 countries, is launching a fun and exciting translation contest to help more people around benefit from the company’s globally-acclaimed solutions.

Devolutions’ translation contest invites people around the world with a little time on their hands and a lot of language-knowledge in their heads to review the Remote Desktop Manager user interface, and translate it into flawless German, Dutch, Russian, Spanish, Italian or any other languages.

The company already has English and French editions, and is open to translating the user interface into other languages besides those planned, if there are enough talented translators out there who are up to the task.

To make the translation process both easier and more efficient, Devolutions is using the Amanuens online platform, which allows translators to share, comment and translate all of the strings.

For each language, once the translation is complete, Devolutions will award the most valuable contributor $500 and a Site License for Remote Desktop Manager. The second and third most valuable contributors will be awarded $200 and $100 respectively, plus they’ll each receive an Enterprise Edition version of Remote Desktop Manager.

“Since day one, Devolutions has always been dedicated to our customers,” commented David Hervieux, CEO of Devolutions, “and with this fun and exciting translation project, we’re asking our customers to work with us to help even more people. The language of business is universal. By making Remote Desktop Manager more accessible to more people around the world, we can help make people’s lives easier, simpler, more efficient and more rewarding. We’re proud of our worldwide community of users, and this translation contest is another way we’re showing them that we don’t just listen to their opinions – we take action to deliver what they want!”

Translators interested in learning more or getting started can visit this link. The sign-up process is fast and simple, and is followed by an email invitation that grants access to all required resources, including a default translation generated by Bing.
