A brand-new PowerShell Universal learning path is now live on Devolutions Academy. Every video is also on the Academy YouTube channel, so you can follow the series wherever you usually watch.
This one is not a typical vendor tutorial dump. It is a community collaboration with a creator who already teaches PowerShell Universal on YouTube.
Built with JackedProgrammer
We discovered JackedProgrammer on YouTube: a Server Administrator who publishes clear, high-quality tutorials on PowerShell, Python, and related tech topics. Off-camera, he is also a competitive powerlifter and bodybuilder, and that personality comes through in a channel that feels approachable as well as technical.
Rather than just bookmark his videos, we reached out and built this path together. The result is training shaped by someone who uses PowerShell Universal in the field, with the practical, hands-on credibility that community-built content often brings.
What you will learn
The path includes 17 videos, taking you from fundamentals through more advanced, real-world PowerShell Universal use. Along the way you will see how to:
- Turn existing PowerShell scripts into browser-based web apps without building a complex GUI
- Separate UI and data with Apps and Endpoints, so dashboards and automation stay reusable and cleaner
- Expose PowerShell logic as REST APIs
- Schedule, monitor, and audit scripts from a central console
If you are just getting started, the PowerShell Universal Developer edition unlocks the full feature set for free local development, so you can follow along and practice at no cost. A Server license is only needed when you move those workloads into production.
Two ways to watch
Pick the format that fits your day:
- On Devolutions Academy (free Devolutions Account required, self-paced): Start the PowerShell Universal path
- On YouTube, if you prefer to watch there: Watch the series on YouTube
And if JackedProgrammer’s style clicks with you, follow JackedProgrammer for more PowerShell and automation content.
