The Devolutions story started in 2004 in the basement of its founder, David Hervieux. In 2010, David was joined by Devolutions' first two employees.

In 2011, due to the growing popularity of Remote Desktop Manager, Devolutions moved to its first office in Lavaltrie, Québec, with two employees. Then in 2013, Devolutions moved to a larger space: the old golf club in Lavaltrie. When renovations were finally finished, David announced that Devolutions was already missing space! So in May 2015, Devolutions settled in what was once the Caisse Desjardins de D'Autray and launched its first expansion in 2019 and another in 2020. The third expansion is scheduled for 2023.

With each passing year, Devolutions continues to grow. Today, the company is proud to have over 200 employees.
