How Workspace fits into your IT stack
Workspace integrates seamlessly with the Devolutions products you already use—providing a consistent access layer across browser, desktop, and mobile.

Devolutions data sources
Use Workspace with Devolutions data sources, whether self-hosted (Devolutions Server) or cloud-hosted (Devolutions Hub Business). Credentials, secrets, and access policies stay centralized, while users access them consistently across devices.

Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager
RDM centralizes the management of remote sessions, VPNs, SSH tunnels, and more. Workspace gives users a unified interface to view and launch RDM sessions without leaving their daily workflow.

Devolutions Launcher
Combined with Workspace, Launcher gives end users a simple way to start remote sessions stored in their data source without having to open Remote Desktop Manager.
Together, these products form a unified ecosystem where credentials, connections, and access policies stay aligned, while users work from the Workspace interface that best fits their workflow.
Included in every Devolutions package
Devolutions Workspace is included in every Devolutions package. It is the common workspace your users rely on, regardless of which solution package you choose.
Workforce password management
Start with the essentials: Workspace plus a data source (Devolutions Hub Business or Devolutions Server). This tier focuses on secure credential storage, governance, and everyday access.
… and beyond
As your environment grows, higher tiers expand on workforce password management with additional capabilities like Devolutions Gateway, Launcher, Remote Desktop Manager, and PAM—while Workspace remains the consistent access layer.

Workspace FAQ
Integrations and automation
Which Devolutions products can be accessed from Devolutions Workspace?
You can connect the Devolutions Workspace apps to Devolutions Hub Business (including Hub Business Free), Devolutions Hub Personal, and Devolutions Server. This brings the web experience of these data sources into a single, centralized desktop app, and extends it to mobile for on-the-go access.
The Workspace browser extension extends access further. In addition to surfacing credentials stored in your Devolutions advanced data sources (Hub/Server) directly in the browser as you browse and work online, the extension can also connect to Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager, giving users quick access to vault credentials, including those linked to a local data source.
Security and access
What actions (view, add, edit, delete) can users do in data source vaults from Workspace, and how does permission affect this?
In connected vaults, the Workspace apps let users view entries and (when permitted) add, edit, and delete entries directly in the app. Available actions always reflect the permissions defined in the underlying data source (Hub/Server): if a role does not allow adding, editing, or deleting entries, or does not allow viewing sensitive fields (such as passwords), those actions and fields will not be available in Workspace.
In the browser extension, entries cannot be edited directly. However, the extension includes an edit option that opens the data source's web interface, reducing context switching by keeping the workflow in the same browser.
Administration and reliability
Can I use Devolutions Workspace offline?
Yes. The Workspace apps (desktop and mobile) support an offline mode, but it is read-only. For advanced data sources, offline mode must be enabled by an administrator in Devolutions Server and/or Devolutions Hub before users can activate it in Workspace.
