August poll question: How do you prefer to learn about new tech solutions and products?
Continuous learning is important in every profession. But in the IT world, it is more than that: it is essential. Tools and technologies are always changing, and IT pros must keep up and stay ahead.
The need for IT pros to constantly increase their knowledge and awareness brings us to August’s poll question. This month, we would like to know: How do you prefer to learn about new tech solutions and products?
Here are some possible learning methods:
- Blog posts and articles
- Tutorials
- Webinars
- Forums
- Power user communities (e.g., Devolutions Force)
- Online learning (e.g., Devolutions Academy)
- Videos
- Documentation
- Free trials
- Demos
- Test environments
Things to consider
In thinking about your answer, you are invited to rely on your experiences learning about Devolutions’ solutions and products, as well as your experiences with offerings from other companies.
You can mention as many preferred learning methods as you wish, including those that are not highlighted in the list above (which are provided to give you some ideas and spark your thinking).
In addition, “new tech” does not necessarily mean solutions and products that are newly-introduced in the marketplace. It also includes those that have been available for a while, but are new to you.
You could win
By participating in the poll (please click here for rules), you will be automatically entered to win one of two $25 Amazon gift cards. We will announce the lucky winners when we look at the responses in early September.
Thank you in advance for participating, and we look forward to learning about how you prefer to continuously increase your knowledge, deepen your expertise, and have fun! After all, who loves learning about new tech more than gloriously geeky IT pros?
