Welcome home: We’re bringing Devolutions Force into the Devolutions Forum!

Devolution force migration to forum blog

Devolutions is centralizing all community discussions by integrating Devolutions Force into the Devolutions Forum. Challenges and activities will stay on the original platform.

Laurence Cadieux

As Communication Team Leader at Devolutions, I lead our content and communications team, with a focus on strategy, alignment, and brand consistency across all channels. I oversee initiatives like our blog, the Devolutions Force advocate program, and global PR efforts — ensuring our messaging connects with the right audiences, in the right way.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in marketing, and outside of work, you’ll usually find me singing with my band or rewatching my favorite movies. Want to connect? Reach out at lcadieux@devolutions.net.

We have some great news: after using various third-party apps for several years to host the community component of the Devolutions Force, we have decided to “bring it home” and integrate it with our very own Devolutions Forum!

All challenges, journeys and activities will remain on the current Devolutions Force platform, while discussions will move to the Devolutions Forum.

Keep reading to learn why we made this decision and about the benefits for our users. First, let us quickly summarize Devolutions Force for those who are new.

About Devolutions Force

Devolutions Force is our interactive and free VIP power user community, which is hosted on an outstanding third-party platform called Base. Devolutions Force brings together Devolutions advocates from around the world to:

  • Build powerful connections with experts in the space
  • Enjoy privileged access to product news, updates, and events
  • Receive exclusive invitations to participate in beta testing programs
  • Get a direct line of communication to our teams
  • Boost learning & development through tips, best practices, and more
  • Enhance their reputation as Devolutions Power User and IT leader

In addition, Devolutions Force members earn points and climb the leaderboard by participating in challenges, completing tasks, and providing feedback. The points can be redeemed for cool prizes and discounts on Devolutions products.

The benefits

Migrating the discussion component of the Devolutions Force to the Devolutions Forum centralizes all feedback, questions, feature requests, and other interactions across our entire user community (advocate and non-advocate). Ultimately, this enables us to be even more responsive and proactive, and deepen the invaluable connection and relationship that we have with our users.

In addition, this change gives us more customization options for enhancing key aspects like UX and UI. What’s more, many Devolutions Force members are active contributors in the Devolutions Forum. Establishing a single, unified space for all discussions makes it faster and more convenient to move between them.

Timeline

We plan to carry out the migration in September. Devolutions Force members can be assured that there will be no impact on their Devolutions Force account, including points earned and leaderboard standing.

Once the migration is complete, Devolutions Force members will be able to log into the new discussion community on Devolutions Forum using their Devolutions account.

Stay tuned & get in touch

We are excited about this evolution of Devolutions Force, and looking forward to enhancing the experience for the amazing members of our VIP user community. We will provide updates accordingly.

If you have any questions about this change, please comment below or get in touch with me directly at lcadieux@devolutions.net. I would be delighted to hear from you!
