We are reaching out to provide an update on the service disruption that has affected the Devolutions Force, which is hosted by a third-party platform, Influitive. Since Wednesday, March 13, we have faced a significant challenge due to an unexpected outage after Influitive updated their platform. We understand the inconvenience this has caused and want to assure you that we’ve been working relentlessly with Influitive’s support team to resolve the issue.
What happened, and our immediate actions
- On Wednesday morning, users attempting to sign in to the Devolutions Force were met with a 504 error message (indicating a gateway timeout error). Influitive had updated their platform, which inadvertently caused the Devolutions Force to become completely inaccessible.
- That same morning, we promptly opened a ticket with Influitive’s support team to diagnose the issue.
- The days following, our team continued to work closely with Influitive’s support staff to restore access to the Devolutions Force. Despite our efforts to obtain a clear timeline for resolution, specific information regarding when the Force would be fully restored could not be provided by Influitive’s support team.
- One week later, access to the Force was restored.
Current status
The Devolutions Force is up and running. However, please be aware that there might still be some lingering issues with the platform.
