Great news! Our 2026.1 updates have officially launched across all Devolutions’ solution packages, including:
- Privileged access management
- Remote desktop management and IT operations
- Remote access management
- Workforce password management
This major update delivers significant improvements to help teams increase control, automation, and visibility; enhance operational efficiency and lifecycle management; harden external access and password policies; and simplify onboarding and overall user experience.
New video
We tapped Yann, our Product Marketing Advisor, to put together a video covering some of the most exciting improvements and additions. As usual, he delivered! Here is what you’ll find in the new video:
Onboard and install faster in Devolutions Workspace for Desktop
- Getting started with Devolutions Workspace is now smoother thanks to a redesigned landing page, simpler installation flow, and improved get-started wizard.
- The browser extension now makes working with OTPs easier by detecting and auto-filling fields, even when websites don’t use standard field names or IDs.
- The browser extension also features a new built-in QR code reader to scan QR codes directly from websites and automatically store OTPs.
- The browser extension’s add entry function now lets you directly add websites, credit cards, contacts, and secure notes.
Secure contractor access with focused workflows
- You can now allow authorized external users (e.g., contractors, vendors, external support teams) to securely access your cloud-based or self-hosted vaults through the web interface. They can also launch web sessions that are proxied, secured, logged, and recorded by Devolutions Gateway.
- Authorized external users now see a new compact view that highlights up to three remote sessions they can access. The standard full view remains available for those who prefer a more detailed layout.
Build better dashboards with customizable widgets
- You can now build better dashboards thanks to customizable widgets in Remote Desktop Manager, Devolutions Workspace, Devolutions Hub, and Devolutions Server.
- Dashboards are customized and preset on the administrative level, so that each user only sees what they need and require.
Reach Devolutions support faster with in-app chat
- You can now reach our (legendary!) Devolutions Support team faster with in-app chat. Simply tell the AI assistant that you want to chat with a live agent, and you’ll be connected as quickly as possible. Please note that live chat is only available during regular business hours.
Faster deployment and creation of cloud-based vaults
- The new onboarding wizard makes setting up a new data source in Remote Desktop Manager easier, simpler and faster. Simply choose your existing cloud-based data source, or create a new data source.
Access PowerShell Universal directly from RDM
- Late last year, we were thrilled to welcome PowerShell Universal into the Devolutions ecosystem. As part of this integration, Remote Desktop Manager now features a dedicated PowerShell Universal entry type. This is just the first step in this new partnership, we have many additions planned for the months ahead — stay tuned!
End privileged sessions automatically after account check-in
- You can now automatically end any active session in Devolutions PAM on account check-in. This is a safe and reliable way to reinforce security and controls.
Extend PAM to MongoDB with discovery and account password rotation
- We have added MongoDB to the roster of available PAM providers in Devolutions PAM, extending privileged access discovery, account password rotation, and overall governance to MongoDB environments.
